Description Level 3 is designed for high novice learners, aiming to consolidate their foundational Arabic skills. This level focuses on strengthening grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Through interactive activities, dialogues, and reading exercises, you will enhance conversational skills, improve reading comprehension, and develop basic writing abilities. By the end of Level 3, you will have a solid grasp of grammar, an expanded vocabulary, improved reading and listening comprehension, and the ability to engage in basic conversations. Our instructors will provide guidance and support throughout the course, helping you build confidence in using Arabic for everyday communication. Learning Outcomes 1. Extract information from a variety of basic authentic texts in areas of most immediate priority (e.g very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography employment) in both reading and orally, provided that the speech is clearly and slowly articulated. 2. Demonstrate effective oral skills in a range of social situations such as talking about your daily life, skills and past experiences. 3. Produce short texts on matters of personal relevance e.g. write short basic descriptions of events, activities and personal experiences using present and past simple. Also, engage in basic social communication online (Sharing news and making/confirming arrangements to meet). 4. Continue identifying economic, social and cultural similarities and differences between Ireland and Arabic-speaking countries. 5. Demonstrate control of basic structures of the language using simple grammatical structures (e.g word order in main and subordinate clauses, the use of genders and cases, adjectival endings, verb tenses). 6. Use IT skills to access language specific-resources (life-long learning) to be able to reflect on your own learning path in your future progression in the language. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
