Description

To develop the students' knowledge of the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in business and organisational systems, and the organisational and technical issues relevant to developing and using such systems.

Learning Outcomes

1. Knowledge of Information Systems including: infrastructure and services, systems development and management, e-commerce, business processes, enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence and organisational communication systems.
2. Ability to apply the techniques and strategies learned for information system specification, evaluation and acquisition (systems analysis and design, data value map) and ethical assessment (ethics canvas).
3. Ability to combine theoretical solutions to real-world industrial problems.
