Description

This module aims to allow students to draw on the theoretical knowledge gained over the taught element of the course and to apply it to real-world IT problems while working within a group context. In particular, the module will introduce students to: - Working within teams - Analysing real-world IT problems - Developing appropriate solutions to these problems - Presenting these solutions in a coherent manner

Learning Outcomes

1. Develop their skills learned in the taught component of the course in the context of a significant project.
2. Develop their interpersonal skills by undertaking this team-based project.
3. Describe and analyse real IT situations and problems
4. Break down a problem into appropriate manageable sub-tasks, suited to the knowledge and skills of the project team.
5. Manage or work within a project with diverse components and integrate this into a coherent whole.
6. Present the outcomes of the project through report writing and presentations.
