Description

The overall aim of this module is to develop students' competencies in designing and developing a large multimedia product or service and to promote a team based learning approach to the acquisition of professional skills and practices in line with the students own interests and competencies in the digital media field.

Learning Outcomes

1. Define the topic, media area, approach and methodology of their chosen media/research project
2. Identify the core skill sets necessary for successful execution of proposed media project/research topic
3. Form a project team with a well balanced set of media skills capable of bringing project to execution
4. Critially analyse previous media and academic work in the relevant chosen area
5. Develop solutions to programming, design and management problems as they arise throughout the project implementation stages
6. Produce an innovative, original and complex multimedia project which displays high creative production values and demonstrates rigorous academic analysis
