Description

This module provides relevant media experience to students to allow them to apply knowledge and skills learned in the programme, to introduce them to the journalism workplace and routines, and to allow them to build their portfolio. Placements are arranged via the University's Intra Office.

Learning Outcomes

1. Relate programme learning and skills to working in a media organization
2. Assess his or her aptitudes and preferences
3. Build on experience of work in a realistic media environment
4. Make informed career decisions
5. Demonstrate developed journalist skills by means of a portfolio of published work
