Description To develop an appreciation of the analytical approaches required in environmental analysis of air, water and soil samples. To provide the student with knowledge of analytical techniques available to solve/assess current environmental challenges. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. The student will become familiar with the initial planning stages involved in environmental analysis including the sampling plan, quality assurance, storage and handling and safety. Basic analytical techniques and the theory behind them are introduced and put into context.
