Description This year-long module is comprised of elective seminars offering the opportunity for students to develop their research and/or creative writing skills within a particular specialization, working within seminar groups under the direction of a single member of faculty. The students will be offered a choice of groups within the module at the beginning of the year. Students taking a creative writing seminar will be assessed for entry on the basis of a writing sample. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Engage in increasingly focused research and reflection on a particular aspect of literature. 2. Demonstrate intellectual and/or creative independence. 3. Appreciate critical rigour and engage in disciplined thinking. 4. Demonstrate writing and presentation skills appropriate for their chosen specialization. 5.
