Description

To develop all language skills; to equip the student to participate effectively in discussions; to widen the students' structural and lexical choices in all settings; to enable students to write appropriately in a variety of contexts. Materials used in this module are mainly pitched at CEFR level B.2

Learning Outcomes

1. Express their views in written form with relative ease and a good degree of accuracy on a range of reasonably familiar and topical issues
2. Use appropriate communicative strategies in oral and written situations.
3. Express themselves orally with relative ease of comprehension and without undue hesitation in a range of familiar contexts.
4. Use effective reading strategies to extract key information from relatively complex texts.
5. Use effective listening strategies to identify key points in extended aural texts of a reasonably complex nature
