Description

Tá sé i gceist go bhfoghlaimeoidh mic léinn faoi chás na Gaeilge ó thús an fhichiú haois go dtí an lá atá inniu ann. I dtús an mhodúil míneofar cúlra agus príomheachtraí na hathbheochana do mhic léinn mar aon le staid na Gaeilge sular bunaíodh Saorstát Éireann. Déanfar forbairt ar an mbonn taca seo trí léargas ginearálta a thabhairt dóibh ar na gnéithe seo a leanas: a) an athbheochan stát-urraithe; b) cruthú agus staid reatha na gceantar Gaeltachta; c) an Ghaeilge sa chóras oideachais; d) an phleanáil corpais sa Ghaeilge; e) cainteoirí agus nuachainteoirí na Gaeilge. Tá sé i gceist go mbeidh eolas ag mic léinn ar na forbairtí, ar na beartais nó ar an taighde is cothrom le dáta a bhaineann leis na gnéithe sin, mar shampla an Caighdeán Oifigiúil Athbhreithnithe, Staidéar Cuimsitheach Teangeolaíochta ar úsáid na Gaeilge sa Ghaeltacht, an Straitéis 20 Bliain don Ghaeilge.

Learning Outcomes

1. cur síos agus luacháil a dhéanamh ar bheartais teanga an Stáit.
2. idirdhealú a dhéanamh idir na cineálacha éagsúla cainteoirí Gaeilge atá ann agus plé a dhéanamh ar na saincheisteanna sóisialta agus teangeolaíochta a bhaineann leo.
3. sainmhíniú a thabhairt ar céard is ceantar Gaeltachta ann agus stair an choincheapa sin a rianú go hachomair.
4. cur síos achomair a dhéanamh ar an bpleanáil corpais a bhí ar siúl sa Ghaeilge ó thús an fhichiú haois go dtí an lá atá inniu ann.
5. taighde a dhéanamh ar na foinsí eolais reatha iontaofa ar thopaicí an mhodúil.
