Description

Is é aidhm an mhodúil seo tuiscint a thabhairt do mhic léinn ar ainmeolaíocht na Gaeilge. Dhá leath a bheidh sa mhodúl seo: A: Ainmneacha pearsanta agus sloinnte na Gaeilge agus na hÉireann. Le linn na leithe seo foghlaimeoidh mic léinn: faoi chóras rangaithe ainmneacha pearsanta agus sloinnte na Gaeilge; faoi ainmneacha iasachta in Éirinn; faoi bhuafhocail, faoi mhalartú sloinnte ag faoi bhéarlú sloinnte. B: Logainmneacha na hÉireann. Le linn na leithe seo foghlaimeoidh mic léinn faoi ordlathas logainmneacha na hÉireann, faoi thionchar teangacha iasachta ar logainmneacha na hÉireann; faoi bhéarlú agus faoi mhionlogainmneacha.

Learning Outcomes

1. Cur síos a dhéanamh ar an gcaoi a rangaítear ainmneacha pearsanta Gaeilge.
2. Brí a thabhairt ar mhíreanna coitianta a úsáidtear in ainmneacha pearsanta sa Ghaeilge.
3. Cur síos sainiúil a thabhairt ar ghné amháin den éabhlóid a tháinig ar ainmneacha pearsanta Gaeilge lena n-áirítear tionchar teangacha iasachta, buafhocail, malartú sloinnte agus béarlú.
4. Cur síos a dhéanamh ar ordlathas logainmneacha na hÉireann agus an cur síos seo a dhéanamh i gcomhthéacs contae ar leith in Éirinn.
5. Brí a thabhairt ar mhíreanna coitianta a úsáidtear i logainmneacha na hÉireann.
6. Cur síos sainiúil a thabhairt ar ghné amháin den éabhlóid a tháinig ar logainmneacha na hÉireann.
7. Labhairt go ginearálta faoi stair thiomsú agus foilsiú logainmneacha na hÉireann.

Beidh ar mhic léinn léitheoireacht agus staidéar a dhéanamh ar ábhar léitheoireachta an chúrsa.

Fillteán foghlama
Beidh ar mhic léinn fillteán foghlama a choinneáil i gcaitheamh an tseimeastair. Cuirfear teimpléad don fhillteán ar fáil agus beidh ar mhic léinn eolas ó léachtaí agus ón obair neamhspleách a dhéanann siad a chur san fhillteán sin.
