Description

The aim of this module is to prepare students to be able to use French language with ease and appropriately in a wide range of situations, either at work, in social gatherings or in everyday life. In order to do this, based on the principles of content & language integrated learning, the module, taught through French, will focus on developing every skill: understanding, reading, speaking and writing. This will be done through the exploration of our main topic: current affairs. Students are expected to work towards attaining an upper intermediate level of oral and written fluency and accuracy in diverse situations. Materials used in this module are mainly drawn from CEFR level B2 They will have to attend all sessions and to participate fully in the proposed learning activities, either individually or in groups, with their classmates and also with native French speakers through online telecollaboration when possible.
