Description



Learning Outcomes

1. LO1 Understand main points and finer details from authentic textual and audio-visual sources including charts, statistics, websites, podcasts etc. in German on selected topics.
2. LO2 Express him-/herself coherently in writing on topics beyond those relating to his/her immediate personal experience, such as current affairs and cultural production of the German-speaking countries, and show his/her awareness of a variety of text type conventions, such as formal email, report, instruction manual etc.
3. LO3 Clearly communicate orally on topics such as current affairs and cultural production of the German-speaking countries with some degree of fluency, and provide arguments and examples supporting his/her opinion.
4. LO4 Demonstrate a good use of intermediate language and structures in order to communicate clearly and efficiently in a variety of contexts.
5. LO5 Make effective use of digital tools and resources for language learning and language use (spoken and written), including searching and retrieving relevant and reliable information as well as creating online content in the foreign language.
