Description

This module will equip students with a working knowledge of the key contemporary trends and theories in talent management.The module will introduce key issues such as talent management systems, the nature of individual performance and potential, talent identification and development, employer branding, data analytics and talent management and the international context of talent management.

Learning Outcomes

1. • Understand the importance of talent and its effective management to organisational success. • Understand a range of theories and frameworks relevant to the management of talent in organisations. • Understand the nature of leadership and talent development and the role of knowledge and knowledge management in the context of talent • Apply your understanding of talent and talent management to evaluate the challenges and opportunities of managing talent in organisations. • Analyse and critique theory and research on talent and talent management, and to convert theory and research into practice. • Effectively present in written and oral format in a means appropriate to a professional au
