Description

This module provides the students with relevant experience in a workplace environment. The workplace may be be in the industrial or university environment, local or overseas. Positions may be obtained through the INTRA office or found by the student. The duration of the placement is typically from the start of semester 2 to the middle of the summer.

Learning Outcomes

1. Perform tasks appropriate (planning, execution, analysis) to a physicist in the workplace
2. Reflect critically on workplace results in the context of the Physics programme
3. Relate to professionals in the workplace
4. Produce a structured coherent report on the placement
