Description

The purpose of this module is to enable students to undertake independent research and present findings in a coherent way. Students will present an MA dissertation according to the highest standards of academic writing.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify an original topic in the field of Refugee Studies
2. Present a relevant theoretical framework
3. Select and apply a specific methodology to the subject of their research
4. Construct an interpretation of selected material by way of analysis
5. Develop a sustained argument cognently and coherently in written form
6. Demonstrate appropriate bibliographic skills
