Description To allow a student to spend his/her third year in a host University as part of the ERASMUS/SOCRATES exchange programme:- Sciences Po-Paris (France),Padrigu, Gothenburg (Sweden), Corvinus University-Budapest (Hungary), Charles University- Prague (Czech Republic), and Bogazici University-Istanbul (Turkey). This year abroad provides students with the opportunity to obtain additional perspectives on the academic discipline(s) relevant to their degree. Students undertake 50 credits during the year abroad. The cumulative result of these 50 credits is recorded as either a Pass or Fail under module code LG300. A further 10 credits will be for an eportfolio. Students are required to submit a monthly journal entry on Loop, reflecting on the learning outcomes and offering a final reflection at the end of the year abroad. Module LG300 is a code used for Administrative convenience to capture this Pass or Fail result. Modules are drawn from the wide range of modules offered in partner universities and are selected within certain established criteria. Module choices and the student’s overall number of hours/ credits are approved by the Year Abroad Coordinator and recorded in a Learning Agreement. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
