Description

This module aims at building students' ability to work independently by requiring them to complete a 10,000 word dissertation on the topic of their choice (under the supervision of a member of staff with the requisite subject-specific knowledge).

Learning Outcomes

1. Recognise a range of legal research methods and approaches
2. Construct a research issue to investigate and a research plan
3. Relate an appropriate method to a research question
4. Complete a research project successfully under the guidance of a supervisor
