Description

The digital supply chain is key to the successful operation of organisations that manufacture and distribute products, and applies to a broad range of supply chain models, including B2B production and distribution of products and services. This module relates to both the management of digital supply chains, and new innovations in the area, encompassing technologies relating to organisational and supply chain resilience in uncertain economic conditions, and how flexibility and adaptability are enabled and supported.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identification of digital technologies as key elements for successful supply chain management in organisations
2. Justify the importance of digital technologies to support supply chain management
3. Identify and examine digital supply chain approaches
4. Apply a wide variety of digital and analytical tools and techniques in analysing and solving supply chain problems
5. Appraise the value of data to support digital supply chains
