Description Operations management involves the systematic planning, designing and operating, controlling, and improving the processes that transform inputs into finished goods and services. Managing operations is critical to the success of all types of organisations, from manufacturing through to services. This module aims to demonstrate and critically evaluate the role of operations management and its contribution to business competitiveness.
