Description

In this module, students plan, run and evaluate a campaign to improve health equity for people in a specific group or setting. Students develop an understanding of how campaigns for health equity can be effective, and and understanding of their limitations.

Learning Outcomes

1. Discuss key concepts and approaches that can usefully inform campaigns for health equity.
2. Identify specific health inequalities that are a suitable focus for campaigning for health equity.
3. Analyse a range of factors that shape the course and outcomes of campaigns for health equity.
4. Plan and conduct a small-scale campaign to improve health equity.
5. Evaluate the extent to which health inequities are addressed through campaigning.
