To enable students to integrate relevant inclusion concepts into their nursing/health care practice.

Learning Outcomes

1. Summarize the theoretical perspectives and policies on social inclusion.
2. Appraise inclusion research.
3. Develop a clear profile of the nature of marginalised groups.
4. Ascertain barriers and enablers to inclusion in the student s defined area of practice.
5. Develop skills in initiating action for social inclusion in their defined area of practice.
