Description The purpose of this module is to introduce students to common factors and technical – eclective models of psychotherapy theory and practice underpinned by a predominantly developmental- relational perspective. In this module students will develop knowledge and skills in the methods of psychotherapy in the context of a theoretically integrated framework for practice. The approach adopted will address the needs of participants as theoretically informed integrative psychotherapy practitioners. The module also provides a precursory theoretical knowledge base for advanced psychotherapy practice. Students are expected to attend lectures and to engage in on line self directed learning activities supplemented by reading and reviewing relevant literature and course material as assigned. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
