This module’s re-assessment is a continuation of the assessment from NS5138 (Evidence-Based Practice Research for Healthcare Practice). Students have completed Steps 0-3 of the EBP process in the previous module. For this module, students will complete a proposal for implementation of the Practice Development Project into their services including integration and critical analysis of literature. Provision of a detailed plan for Implementation and evaluating the proposed change including identification of local resources, supports. Dissemination activities e.g. evidence of presentations, round table discussions, collaborative events, peer discussions, etc.

Learning Outcomes

1. 1. Refine the focus of their EBP project identified in NS5138 (Research Methods for Healthcare module).
2. Integrate the evidence sourced with clinical expertise & patient preferences to make the best decision for implementing an evidence-based organisational change project.
3. Implement an evidence-based organisational change based on one of the EBP implementation models.
4. Evaluate the change implemented i.e. evaluate the organisational / clinical / patient outcomes of their project based on evidence within their services
5. Disseminate the outcomes of the evidence-based change project.
