This module contextualises recovery within modern mental health services and explores ways by which recovery work can be incorporated into daily practice.

Learning Outcomes

1. Analyse opposing and comparable models of recovery.
2. Evaluate and influence service delivery in a way that makes it amenable to recovery work .
3. Incorporate recovery values and principles into professional practice.
4. Evaluate the qualities of a recovery worker/team/service.
5. Offer an analysis of social barriers to recovery.
