Description

This module aims to develop teachers’ ability to implement and apply their theoretical understanding of meeting individual needs and diversity in the classroom setting. Specifically, it aims to support teachers to develop their inclusive pedagogical skills when planning for and teaching lessons to diverse groups of learners.

Learning Outcomes

1. Plan and design lessons appropriately, taking all learners into account .
2. Implement teaching plans in the teaching/learning context of the classroom, demonstrating an ability to use effective and appropriate strategies to enable the learning of all.
3. Evaluate both the teaching and learning of the lessons in question.
4. Demonstrate competencies necessary for special and inclusive teaching approaches and pedagogies.
