Description Student will learn how to conduct a scientific literature search, how to structure and reference scientific writing, and how to verbally communicate scientific information. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate the ability to access relevant up-to-date, scientific information from the primary literature, collate the information and write an overview of the subject chosen. 2. Use printed and electronic primary and secondary sources to access information on a given research area. 3. Extract appropriate relevant information from selected journal articles and communicate its relative importance. 4. Collate scientific information and write a comprehensive review on a given subject from the fields of physical Education, Education or Biology. 5. Demonstrate scientific writing skills and the ability to critically analyse and interpret research material. 6.
