Description

This module is designed for students who are interested in learning Chinese but have no prior knowledge of the language. It encompasses both language and cultural aspects. The primary goal of this module is to create an interactive language environment that fosters learning through engaging in pair and group communicative tasks both inside and outside the classroom. By actively participating in these tasks, students will not only enhance their language skills but also develop their intercultural communication competence. Students will develop understanding of both the shared elements and the unique characteristics of Chinese culture in comparison to their own cultures. By the end of this module, students are expected to achieve proficiency at the A1.1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
