Description
This module is aimed at students who have collected and begun analysing data for their PhD and are ready to write a paper for publication in an academic journal. In advance of enrolling in this module, students should have completed GS608BS Strategies for Academic Writing and either MT610 Qualitative Research Methods or MT611Quantitative Research Methods. The module aims to provide students with an understanding of the academic publication process from paper preparation to peer review and revise and resubmit. It also aims to scaffold the paper writing process for students with the end goal of producing a paper in a publishable format. The module assumes students are familiar with standards for research methods and data collection in their discipline.
