Description

INTRA offers the internship experience to students in real industry contexts, in which they will go through job application process, placed in a professional setting as employee for an extended period of time to learn and practice a computing-related work, identify and develop key transferable skills required to thrive in professional work environment, and reflect on their own performance and skillset for the future labour market.

Learning Outcomes

1. Engage in job application process including CV construction and interviews to secure INTRA internship placement.
2. Apply theoretical aspects of their programme to relevant practical work at the INTRA placement based in Ireland and abroad.
3. Communicate effectively within and outside of teams on the given tasks in oral, written and other formats.
4. Demonstrate professional attributes such as attendance, punctuality, reliability, courtesy, etc.
5. Demonstrate to their INTRA employer that their performance in the placement was satisfactory.
6. Demonstrate to the INTRA Tutor that they have fulfilled the requirements of the placement satisfactorily.
7. Reflect on and evaluate their own INTRA placement and its contribution to their personal development and career planning.
