Description
To familiarise students with basic software testing strategies and techniques most relevant to computing in a business environment.

Learning Outcomes
1. Explain the principles the importance and principles of the software testing process. 2. Identify and contrast the main lifecycle approaches from a testing perspective 3. Explain the main static testing techniques 4. Explain the main test design techniques 5. Evaluate the test management process 6. Explain the principles behind and role of tool support in software testing
