Description

This module will teach students applied environmental economics using a challenge based learning approach. Students will complete a group project where they will either develop an environmental policy, conduct a valuation study or a cost benefit analysis. Interim deliverables will be set throughout the semester and lectures covering issues related to these will deepen the student's knowledge and analytical skills. A final report will be produced by each group and the results will be presented at a final event. There will be involvement from key industry stakeholders in defining the group projects and in assessing the final report/presentation.
