Díreoidh an modúil seo ar thaithí na mac léinn mar fhoghlaimeoirí teanga agus ag déanamh anailís ar an taithí seo chun tuiscint níos doimhne a fháil ar theoiricí fhoghlaim teanga. Tugtar tacaíocht do na mic léinn machnamh a dhéanamh orthu féin mar theagascóir teanga ar feadh an tsaoil. Foghlaimeoidh na mic léinn faoi shealbhú na teanga i suíomh luath-thumoideachais i naíonraí agus i ranganna naíonáin sna scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge (Gaescoileanna agus Scoileanna Gaeltachta). Beidh tusicint ag na mic léinn ar an saineolas ar fhorbairt na scileanna litearthachta agus cuirfear béim ar fheasacht fóineolaíochta sna luathbhlianta.sna scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge (Gaelscoileanna agus Scoileanna Gaeltachta). Tugtar deiseanna do na mic léinn a gcuid inniúlachta a chíoradh agus a fheabhsú ó thaobh teagaisc, foghlama agus measúnaithe de. Tugtar deis do na mic léinn a gcuid scileanna digiteacha a úsáid agus a fhorbairt i rith an chúrsa chun tacú le teagasc, foghlaim agus measúnú do gach foghlaimeoir. This module will focus on the students’ own experience as language learners and the analysis of this experience to enhance their own understanding and application of language learning theory. The students will learn about language acquisition in total immersion settings in the context of Gaelscoileanna and Gaeltacht school in Ireland. The students will gain an understanding of the expertise on literacy development in full immersion settings.

Resources for Irish language teaching/ Acmhainní do mhúineadh na Gaeilge sa suíomh lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta, mar shampla: • Cúrsa Comhtháite Séideán Sí (An Gúm). • Curaclam Teanga na Bunscoile do Scoileanna lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta (CNCM, 2015).
