The purpose of this module is: To develop all language skills; To equip the student to participate effectively in discussions; To widen the students structural and lexical choices in all settings. Materials used in this module are mainly pitched at CEFR level B2

Learning Outcomes

1. Speak fluently and without much hesitation so that they can take part in conversations and discussions with native and other speakers of English Materials used in this module are mainly pitched at CEFR level B.2
2. Write reasonably fluently and accurately on a range of topical issues (Materials used in this module are mainly pitched at CEFR level B.2 )
3. understand reasonably complex aural texts using appropriate listening strategies
4. Extract key information with relative ease from reasonably complex texts relating to familiar and contemporary topics
