Description This module, taught entirely through German, aims to develop students’ language competence and fluency in written and spoken production at an intermediate level. Students will encounter a variety of literary and non-literary texts as well as a range of audio-visual sources in order to develop reading and listening comprehension. Awareness and knowledge of culture and society in German-speaking countries are further consolidated. LO3 Communicate reasonably fluently orally on both familiar topics and some beyond their immediate personal experience, such as societal developments and cultural production in the German-speaking countries, and to express own points of view.
