Description Number of credits: 55 Year 3 of the ALTS and BAJ programme provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the relevant target language and culture. Students attend partner universities in China, Europe, Japan or Mexico for a full academic year. The selected modules are compatible with the student’s chosen language pathway and specialism. Modules can be drawn from the wide range of modules offered in partner universities and are selected according to certain established criteria. Modules focussing on the target language are delivered and assessed through that language. Modules focussing on the second language (where applicable) are delivered and assessed through that language. Module choices and the student’s overall number of hours/ credits are approved by the Year Abroad Coordinator and recorded in a Learning Agreement.
