Description This module provides students with the opportunity to undertake a structured year of study at an approved international partner institution specialising in climate science, environmental sustainability, sustainability policy, environmental management, geography, ecology, or related disciplines. Students will engage with international perspectives on climate change, sustainability challenges, environmental governance, conservation, and sustainable development while developing academic, professional, intercultural, and personal skills. The year abroad enables students to broaden their understanding of global environmental issues through exposure to different educational systems, cultural contexts, and environmental practices. Students are expected to complete and pass an approved programme of study at the host institution and maintain regular engagement with their home institution throughout the placement period.
