Description
This module is designed to introduce students to the study of Equity and Trusts. Students will be given a strong grounding in the equitable remedy of the injunction. This module also introduces and examines one of the greatest contributions made by the Courts of Equity to property law: the trust. It deals with the substantive rules governing the creation and classification of trusts, alongside the duties and powers of trustees.

Learning Outcomes
1. Describe and outline the distinction between the common law and equity. 2. Examine and distinguish between various types of injunction. 3. Describe and discuss the rules pertaining to the creation of different types of trusts. 4. Make judgement on the application of the legal rules to hypothetical factual scenarios.
