Pléifear litríocht chomhaimseartha (Dialann Emily Porter: Thíos Seal Thuas Seal, mar shampla) mar eiseamláir de nualitríocht na Gaeilge. Déanfar iniúchadh ar theicnící agus stíleanna éagsúla scríbhneoireachta i saothair chruthaitheacha na Gaeilge. I rith an tseimeastair, cruthóidh na mic léinn punann dá gcuid scríbhneoireachta cruthaithí féin a bheidh dírithe ar pháistí bunscoile.

Ábhar táscach Déanfar grinnstaidéar ar théacsanna nua-aimseartha atá dírithe ar dhéagóirí: déanfar iniúchadh ar mhodhanna inste, ar charachtracht, ar an dialóg, ar shuímh na scéalta agus ar fhorbairt na bplotaí. Déanfar éifeachtacht na saothar a mheas i gcomhthéacs na mionteanga agus i gcomhthéacs an tseomra ranga fosta.
Bainfear úsáid as prós agus scéalta traidisúnta na Gaeilge mar ábhar spreagtha le téacsanna nua a chumadh. Beidh deis ag na mic léinn saothair chruthaitheacha a chumadh as an nua, nó bunaithe ar scéalta traidisiúnta, dírithe ar lucht óg léitheoireachta. Déanfar forbairt ar scileanna scríbhneoireachta na mac léinn trí cheardlanna scríbhneoireachta, agus beidh béim ar an phleanáil agus ar an athscríobh. Cuirfear béim ar an chruthaitheacht agus na mic léinn ag cruthú suíomh idirlín mar chuid den mheasúnú leanúnach.
