Description

Aviation consists of a complex set of operators. Cargo operations can be critical to airline operations. This module examines Cargo Operations and discusses the role and importance of Cargo Operations to the aviation industry. It aims to give students a firm foundation in the principles of Cargo Operations and its complexities.

Learning Outcomes

1. Illustrate the main operational functions of Air Cargo Operations in the commercial context in which the industry operates
2. Identify and classify the range of businesses involved in the operational functions of Air Cargo Operations
3. Describe the complexity and international connectivity of Air Cargo Operations
4. Describe performance measurement and improvement techniques in the sustainable and ethical operation of the Air Cargo business.
5. Describe the minimum service requirements for Air Cargo Operations
