Description

This module will equip students to identify their own knowledge, skills and abilities, to match these with the knowledge, skills and abilities required by employers of graduates, and to consider the implications of any gaps that are identified. The module covers topics such as career planning, CV preparation, interview preparation and job search. The module is organized around lectures, discussions and practical activities.

Learning Outcomes

1. Evaluate their own knowledge, skills and abilities and how these relate to different types of career opportunities
2. Critically assess the range of job opportunities available to graduates both nationally and internationally
3. Develop a professional profile to share with prospective employers by utilising a relevant contemporary approach
4. Demonstrate the skills required to perform well at both interview and in presentations.
