Description

The module enables students to engage in the processese involved in the execution of a research dissertation. The module provides the opportunity for learners to demonstrate the ability to identify an applied issue in organisational life which requires research and understanding. The module will offer the particpant the opportunity to identify, diagnose and investiagate this issues. This includes the positioning of the research in the relevant theoretical/empirical literature. The design of a ethically cogent and methodologically robust research plan. The operationalisation of the research programme and the appropriate analysis and interpretation of the data. The module emphsises the inclusion of practical and actionable recommendations for change, improvement or enhancement of current organisational practice. Learners are required to demonstrate a critial evaluative approach and to undertake empirical investigation and analysis.
