They will be able to provide skilled, research-based care and support for these children and their families. It will broaden and deepen their knowledge and skills such that they can anticipate and respond to the needs of children cared for in a variety of community settings. It is underpinned by a family-centred philosophy. Evidence-based, multi-disciplinary care will be promoted. A holistic approach to care will be fostered.
