Description

Module Aims: To develop the necessary skills to undertake a research project in an area related to Athletic Therapy and Training. To develop the ability to present, interpret and discuss research results. To develop a team approach where appropriate.

Design of a research project
Plan and design the methodology to be used for the study

Data collection
Collect the data for the study

Data processing
Appropriately process the study data

Review of literature
Identify appropriate research studies and critically evaluate their relevance and findings

Results and discussion
Appropriately summarise the results and discuss them in light of previous studies and current theory

Submit an Ethics Review form
Complete an ethics review form for the research study

Attend all writing sessions
