Description
Students learn the basics of lexicography (the writing of dictionaries), terminology (the study of the words used in specialized communication) and terminography (the writing of specialized glossaries). They then apply their knowledge and practical skills in a terminographic project that involves the use of digital tools, including corpus-processing tools and terminology management systems, in the preparation of a termbase in a specialised area of their choice.

Students choose a specialised area of knowledge in which to conduct a systematic terminological investigation in English, using the tools and concepts encountered in the module. They present the results of this investigation in a purpose-built termbase and in a graphical representation. They
