Description
This module aims to equip students with the theoretical knowledge of applied anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, clinical reasoning skills, and practical competencies required for safe and effective musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice. It focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of common musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and rheumatological conditions, integrating a biopsychosocial approach to patient care and fosters an understanding of the role of the wider multidisciplinary team.
The module aligns with the CORU Standards of Proficiency for Physiotherapists and upholds the CORU Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Physiotherapists to ensure ethical and high-quality professional practice.
