Description
This module aims to introduce the student to reducing injury risk in active populations.
|
Learning Outcomes
1. Understand contemporary injury prevention models and be able to identify epidemiological data. 2. Identify and address modifiable injury risk factors (e.g., strength, flexibility, movement technique) in physically active populations. 3. Demonstrate knowledge of current pre-participation screening and profiling protocols and their practical application. 4. Interpret internal and external load monitoring data to inform decision-making in injury risk management. 5. Design, implement, and justify individual and team-based injury prevention programmes informed by evidence.
