Module Aims
To train students of translation in strategies for the comprehension and production of written texts in English by paying particular attention to: 1. Coherence in texts 2. Text Analysis and Translation 3. Register, Text Type and House Style 4. Collocation 5. Text Production

Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to: 7 Identify levels of formality and features of a range of text types 7 Produce appropriate written texts on the basis of tables, graphs and instructions of various types 7 Undertake translation-related professional tasks such as proof-reading and revision
