NOTE
Assume that a 30 credit module load represents approximately 450 hours' work, which includes all teaching, in-course assignments, laboratory work or other specialised training and an estimated private learning time associated with the module.

Indicative Syllabus
Students will meet in a group with the Thesis Coordinator at regular intervals in the last semester, but will also work separately with their own Dissertation Supervisor on the preparation and carrying out of a research project. This will include a comprehensive review of relevant academic literature, as well as new research which will contribute to the accumulated body of knowledge relevant to the student's chosen topic. The dissertation will be presented as a finished thesis by mid-Summer and then submitted to internal and external examiners.
