Indicative Syllabus

· Types of simulation: discrete, continuous, combined.
· Stochastic simulation.
· Discrete simulation: entities, activities, events, queues, sets, states.
· Overview of simulation software.
· Simulation of material handling.
· Simulation of FMS: workstations, tools, fixtures, robots, AGVs, conveyors, pallet systems, storage systems.
