Module Aims
|
To develop the ability to access relevant scientific information from the primary literature, collate the information and write an overview of the subject chosen.

Learning Outcomes
|
|
To use chemical/analytical abstracts to access required information on a
given subject.
- To understand information contained in the primary literature pertaining to a given subject and determine its relative importance.
- To collate information and write a cohesive and fully referenced (including any web sources) scientific report (of 5,000 - 6,000 original words) on a given subject. Students should familiarise themselves with the university regulations on plagiarism which are available at
